The short version.

We collect the email you give us if you sign up for the newsletter. We use it to send the newsletter. We do not sell it, share it, rent it, or use it to target ads. If you unsubscribe, we delete it.

We use a small amount of analytics to know which field notes people actually read. The analytics provider is privacy-respecting (Plausible-style — no cookies, no fingerprinting). We don't know who you are. We just know how many people read which page.

The longer version.

Information we collect.

  • Email — only if you sign up for the dispatch.
  • Page-view counts — anonymous. No cookies, no IP storage, no fingerprinting.
  • Comments / contact emails — only if you write to us. We keep that email so we can reply.

Information we do not collect.

  • Your name, unless you tell us.
  • Your location, beyond what every web server logs (IP, briefly, for security).
  • Anything that would let an advertiser target you.
  • Tracking pixels in our newsletter.

Cookies.

This site does not set tracking cookies. Theme preference (light/dark) is stored locally in your browser only. Affiliate platforms you visit through outbound links may set their own cookies — that's between you and them; their privacy pages apply.

Newsletter.

If you sign up: we use your email to send the newsletter. That's it. We use Beehiiv to handle newsletter delivery; your email is held under Beehiiv's privacy policy. There's an unsubscribe link in every send. Unsubscribes are honored within 24 hours.

Children.

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you think we have, write us and we'll delete it.

Your rights.

If you're in the EU, UK, California, or anywhere else with privacy laws: yes, you have the right to ask what we have on you, ask us to delete it, and ask us to correct it. Email nickmokashiwork@gmail.com and we will, within 30 days, usually faster.

Changes.

If this policy changes meaningfully, we'll note the change at the top of the page and date it. Trivial wording fixes won't get a banner.
